An Italian-Belgian trained digital artist (with a degree in Digital Art earned at ISLAP-ERG in Brussels), he works for international design, architecture, fine & luxury art, and fashion magazines, for advertising but also as editor, visual effects editor, filmmaker/director and art director for several European agencies.
His work at the Bristol de Paris (Faubourg Saint Honoré) was awarded in 2011 as best original concept of the year (design/digital concept).
After many decades of experience in post-production for other leading artists and brands, thanks to Max Papeschi he found himself by chance in the art world (as an artist).
Since 2011 Garjan has been enjoying the role of pop artist (exhibition in Berlin with Max Papeschi at the Abnormals Gallery and at the Elita Christmas Park in Milan, also with Max).
Garjan in July 2012 has been included in Photo Vogue’s 101photographers (with over 30,000 participants) selected by Alessia Glaviano (Senior Photo Editor of Vogue Italia and L’Uomo Vogue) for the exhibition A glimpse at Photo Vogue - 101 photographers/101 pictures at the Galleria Carla Sozzani, with a picture titled The Creek.
